Sarah Brown joined HSRC as a Research Assistant in January 2019. She primarily works with the Pedestrian & Bicycle Information Center, Watch for Me NC, and provides technical assistance to related safety research efforts at HSRC.
Sarah holds bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and professional writing from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. For her undergraduate capstone project, Sarah designed, implemented, and evaluated a low-cost traffic calming measure in an elementary school zone to redistribute the power between vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists. Sarah will be pursing her master’s degree in City and Regional Planning in the Fall of 2019.
