Sarah Bayldon joined HSRC as a Research Technician in September 2023. Based in Washington, DC, Sarah supports HSRC’s National Capital Region Trail Monitoring project funded by the National Park Service. She also contributes to other HSRC projects.

Before joining HSRC Sarah worked for the Department of Justice in an IT role for 14 years.  She has coordinated the Operation EarthWatch program at the local elementary school for 10 years and has served on her city’s Environmental Sustainability Council since 2008.  She earned a B.A. in Geography/Environmental Sciences from Dartmouth College and M.S. in Systems Management from University of Southern California.
