Innovation in transportation is moving at such a rapid rate that it can be difficult to keep track of all the new technologies, much less fully grasp their impact. That’s why the third annual/second virtual NCDOT Research & Innovation Summit placed a strong focus on transformative new research methods and innovations being used to advance North Carolina’s roadway and multi-modal transportation system.

This “2.0” event, hosted again by HSRC, built on the lessons learned from previous Summits to inspire fresh thinking and collaboration between attendees from the public, private, and academic sectors.
