Teens and Distracted Driving

Distracted driving is estimated to contribute to 1.5 to 3 million crashes per year in the United States. Whether it's talking on a cell phone, texting, eating, changing the radio station, and others — it's a distraction. And it results in serious consequences.

The accompanying video and radio public service announcements feature real North Carolina teens sharing their experiences and giving their thoughts on the dangers of distracted driving. Please use the video and PSAs to educate teens on the importance of alert and attentive driving.
