Abstract

This research is focused on modeling and control of a mix traffic network. A cost function is defined with the goal of maximizing the average flow-rate within the network. We employed extremum seeking (ES) control approach to determine the optimal density and penetration rate for each sub-network and used a filtered feedback linearization (FFL) controller to control the throughput of each subnetwork in order to reach to the optimal states.
