Jennifer Bonchak
Public Relations Coordinator
Jennifer joined HSRC in February 2007 as the Public Relations Coordinator for the Center.
In her position, Jennifer focuses on media relations to pro-actively promote the Center and its multiple areas of study including pedestrian and bicycle safety, teen drivers, alcohol impairment studies, traffic operations and roadway design, child passenger safety and distracted drivers among others. She serves as a media liaison for HSRC by fielding media queries and arranging interviews.
Jennifer also fills the role of managing editor for a number of HSRC outlets and publications including the Center's E-Newsletter, Directions, HSRC annual report, and the HSRC Web site.
Jennifer is a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She has public relations experience in a variety of outlets including broadcast, agency and non-profit arenas. Prior to joining HSRC, Jennifer worked as a Public Relations Account Executive, conducting public relations efforts for both consumer and business-to-business accounts.
Jennifer resides in Raleigh with her husband, Jonathan — and their beagle, Frank.
